The short version: this website has no forms, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. We don’t collect, sell or share personal information through it. A few outside services are needed just to deliver the page, and they’re described below.
Who we are
This website is operated by Clifton Heights Fire Company (“Clifton Heights Fire Co.,” “Station 3,” “we,” “us”), an all-volunteer fire company serving Clifton Heights Borough, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit cliftonheightsfireco.org.
Information we collect
We do not ask you for any personal information on this website. There are no contact forms, sign-ups, logins, comment boxes or donation forms.
Technical information handled by our service providers
Like every website, this one has to be delivered to your browser by servers. When it is, the following outside services automatically receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the date and time, and the page or file requested:
- Netlify, which hosts this website. Its servers keep routine logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces the site uses.
- A content delivery network (Amazon CloudFront), which delivers the homepage background video.
We don’t receive or use this information to identify you. Each provider handles it under its own privacy policy.
Links and phone numbers
Some links take you to other websites, such as Google Maps for directions or our website designer’s site. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn’t cover. Tapping a phone number opens your own phone app; the call is handled by your phone carrier, not by this website.
If you contact us
If you call or visit the station, we use what you tell us only to answer your question or follow up on your interest, such as membership. We don’t add you to mailing lists, and we don’t sell, rent or trade your information.
Selling or sharing personal information
We do not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling.
Children’s privacy
This website is meant for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No method of internet transmission is completely secure, but because the site doesn’t collect personal information, there is very little to protect on our side.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that collect information, such as a volunteer interest form or online donations, we will update this policy before they go live to explain exactly what’s collected and why. Any change will show a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
